Trey ventured into mortgage lending later in life after a successful 20 year career working the state legislature as a lobbyist, association executive, and legislative director for a statewide elected official. He brought to his Mortgage business the same qualities that earned him the respect of many at the state capitol – honesty, integrity, fairness and a genuine passion for helping others.
He stays very involved in charitable/community causes through
the church, as a long time board member of Rodeo Austin, and as the Founder,
Past President, and a current board member of the Lone Star Cattlemen
Foundation, a 501c3 that donates over $250,000/year to deserving youth in Central
Texas. He serves as a board member for
the Hays Country Farm Bureau and is chair of the scholarship committee.
Trey founded
the Hill Country Christian Business Networking Alliance, uniting Christian Men
and women who wish to grow their businesses in a manner that glorifies God.
He was very involved as a volunteer at Walnut Springs Elementary.

Finally, as the man in the orange vest directing traffic each morning from Walnut Springs Elementary onto Sportsplex Drive, Trey was coined, “The Refi Traffic Guy”.
Away from work and civic activities, he will be found with his two children in the barn (show steers), at the deer lease, fishing, or in the woodshop.
